You walked with your short skirt and shoes of leather Everyone was talking about the goose bumps from the frost in the weather You seemed so afraid to seem unread through the eyes of other Obsessed with your fancy clothes and the lies of lovers I ain’t taking you home tonight Take a step upstairs we’ll have a drink and a smoke and we’ll listen to the rain But keep your eyes off the mirror cause everyone’s talking about you’re so vain We’ll pick up the dirty clothes, hide them under the cover Dream away the night, whisper the lies of lovers I ain’t taking you home tonight
2.
The streets were quiet the shutter were closed We were alone on the streets of cobblestone I came home bruised red eyes blood on my shoes Both broken and used We always want something, something we don’t need My eyes grew heavy you held gently I feel no damage, no damage from the night How can you love me when I treat you so unkind? We always want something, something we don’t need

January Snow 03:14
January snow is falling down She can feel the wind blow, it's pushing her around Boots strapped tight yet there is something missing here Leads her into the night, cigarettes and a beer It's hard to find something when you don’t know what you’re looking for And when you have it all Do you really want more? Do you really want more? Picked up in a cab she’s going to dance tonight Make good what’s bad what’s wrong make right Music man plays over and over and over again Just like the good old days getting up with friends It's hard to find something when you don’t know what you’re looking for And when you have it all Do you really want more? Do you really want more? Turn around son cause she ain’t coming back Turn around son cause she ain’t coming back It’s a long yeah it’s a long road ahead It’s a long yeah it’s a long road ahead It's hard to find something when you don’t know what you’re looking for And when you have it all Do you really want more? Do you really want more?

Get On 04:01
I don’t if I can get on without you This ship is sailing, and you know I can’t swim I don’t know if I can get on without you The words you flutter are saved by the hymn Picking coins, you don’t want to push your luck Your Mothers child, a cup I tried to taste Picking coins, you don’t want to push your luck Young and wild, the smoke you leave to waste I wish I could let you know I wish I could let you go I don’t if I can get on without you This ship is sailing, and you know I can’t swim I don’t know if I can get on without you The words you flutter are saved by the hymn I wish I could let you know I wish I could let you go

Gilmour 03:35
I’m so happy to have you for so long I’m too lucky to have you as my friend I come home when everything’s wrong You always put it to an end You’re always there to hear my songs You like them at the end of the day Short and quiet or loud and long It doesn’t matter how I play When I needed, I needed, you were always there I picture you running through the fields With a big smile on your face All my problems are always healed With your subtle embrace I’m so happy to have you for so long I’m too lucky to have you as my friend I come home when everything’s wrong You always put it to an end When I needed, I needed, you were always there

about

Play this album loud.

This album was recorded in a living room, in a house between two highly used train tracks (if you listen closely you can hear trains going by at the start of most songs). Using the bare minimum recording equipment: 1 mic and a laptop. Written and recorded in London then sent across the Atlantic via email to Jason who recorded with the same equipment.
